Background
Margaret Kramer Clark was born and raised in Savannah.
While at Georgia Tech, Margaret participated in the Cooperative Education Program, working with the Georgia Department
of Transportation and Metric Constructors, Inc., a subsidiary of J.A. Jones, Inc. After college, Margaret worked as a construction manager for Insignia/ESG, Inc.,
working with agency leasing and property management to ensure quality construction for all new tenants leasing space at Insignia properties.
While in law school, Margaret was a member of Georgia State Law Review, and was an Atlanta Law School Fellow. She also received the 2002 Research, Writing and Advocacy Award, and numerous Cali awards
for highest grade in section. Upon graduation from law school, Margaret accepted a position with Burr & Forman, LLP, in Atlanta, practicing in construction law. After moving back to Savannah in 2006
and working with a firm here, she has opened her own practice specializing in general litigation/arbitration, construction law, lien law, property association law, and real estate litigation.
